Why give?

FHRC will use all generous contributions from to provide online COVID-19 coping tips and resources, connect individuals to counseling services and food distributions, and move successful programming to a virtual format. In order to keep programs running, it will be essential to modify our current offerings to a virtual format as well as train our volunteers and staff on facilitating virtual programs.

Your generosity will help families and people in need of access to critical information and skills and access to mental health services to cope with stress and heal from trauma from COVID-19 as well as implement healthy coping strategies for ongoing struggles.

Coping with COVID-19 and Beyond

With the new coronavirus, in our communities, youth and families are facing unprecedented stress. Missed paychecks, sudden loss, uncontrolled anger outbursts, can be catastrophic.

FRHC is here to help.

  • We’ve developed the COVID-19 Coping Tips series of video interviews with experts.

  • We’ve launched a community webpage with resources and information to help individuals and families cope with the impact of the virus and heal from the trauma after the crisis.

  • We’ve linked with partners to provide food to folks in highest need.

  • We are moving our vital spring and summer programming on youth social/emotional skills, and parent/child communication to a virtual format

  • We’ve linked with partners to offer a network of counselors that offer individual, family, and faith-based counseling virtually.

FRHC provides critical life skills and connects people to resources and counseling to help manage stress and prevent risky behavior.

When experiencing trauma, we are there to help…  When parents and children need communication skills,

we are there to help…   Together we can make a difference! Together we can cope and heal!

Thank you for your investment in others!
