Health disparities are preventable differences in the burden of disease, injury, violence, or in opportunities to achieve optimal health experienced by socially disadvantaged racial, ethnic, and other population groups, and communities (CDC). Health disparities pose a moral and ethical dilemma for our society and threaten to hamper efforts to improve health.
Our projects provide pipelines of access to opportunities and resources that help our community members break intergenerational cycles of health and education disparities and socioeconomic adversities.
GHEP believes that eliminating health disparities is a collective effort. It cannot be achieved single-handedly by an individual or organization. Cognizant of these facts, we, therefore, extend a warm invitation for your partnership so we can collectively work to dismantle and eliminate health disparities once and for all!
