Gyassi Sutton is  a former Paramedic in the City of New Orleans for 2012-2014. He started Medical School in 2014 at the Universita di Campania Luigi Vanvitelli,  formerly Seconda Universita Degli Studi di Napol School of Medicine and Surgery and is expected to graduate July 2020.

My education, international travels and own personal experiences have helped me realize that though many populations may have a basic idea on the concept of health, many do not have enough knowledge, access, or means to maintain health. This is when I understood that public health was the answer and would have a major contribution to my career.

While in medical school Gyassi started his MPH program at University of New England 2016 and is expected to graduate in August 2020. He summarizes his passion for public health thus: “My education, international travels and own personal experiences have helped me realize that though many populations may have a basic idea on the concept of health, many do not have enough knowledge, access, or means to maintain health. This is when I understood that public health was the answer and would have a major contribution to my career.”
