Dr. Romuladus “Romey” Azuine serves as the Executive Director of Global Health and Education Projects, Inc. (GHEP) and a public health leader with expertise in global health, program design, research, maternal and child health, and mental health. He holds a DrPH from Morgan State University, an MPH from Howard University College of Medicine, an MA from Bowie State University, and nursing qualifications from Kingston University and St. George’s Hospital Medical School in the United Kingdom. He also completed leadership training at Harvard Kennedy School. Dr. Azuine is committed to preparing and mentoring current and future public health professionals to lead meaningful careers and create lasting impact in communities worldwide.

Dr. Sussan E. Ekejiuba serves as GHEP’s Director of Programs and Program Manager of the Greater PG Diaper Bank. Her multidisciplinary expertise spans data science, pharmacology, data analytics, artificial intelligence, large language models, prompt engineering, and project management. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Nigeria, a PhD from Howard University, and an MS from the University of Maryland Global Campus. She is also a certified Project Management Professional. Driven by innovation and continuous learning, Dr. Ekejiuba applies data and emerging technologies to address challenges in education, maternal and child health, and public health, with particular interest in advancing health equity among underserved populations.

Dr. Nzube P. Nsofor is Program Manager of GHEP’s Public Health 360 Fellowship. She brings expertise in research, data analysis, environmental science, financial management, project design and management, coaching, and motivational leadership. Dr. Nsofor earned her MS from Michigan State University and her PhD from Morgan State University and is a former MasterCard Foundation Scholarship Fellow. Her work is grounded in the belief that education, mentorship, and practical skills can transform lives and strengthen communities. At GHEP, she is committed to empowering emerging professionals, particularly those from historically underserved communities, to develop the knowledge, confidence, and leadership capacity needed to reduce inequities and improve health outcomes locally and globally.

He holds an HND from Abia State University and an MS from the University of Maryland Global Campus, with additional experience in health and safety training and education in the oil and gas sector. His work reflects a commitment to making public health information accessible and using technology, communication, and community partnerships to connect underserved families with resources. Dr. Chidubem “CJ” Egboluche serves as GHEP’s Program Officer for Partnerships and Linkages. His areas of expertise include public health, health policy and management, global health, and One Health. He earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Nigeria and his MPH from Howard University College of Medicine and is a DrPH candidate at Morgan State University. His professional experience also includes a policy internship with the Maryland State Senate. Dr. Egboluche is committed to developing the next generation of public health leaders to think not only as practitioners, but also as policymakers and managers. His work focuses on equipping emerging leaders to address health disparities and help redesign the systems and policies that contribute to them.

Her responsibilities span manuscript and peer-review management, communications with editors and editorial board members, author correspondence and outreach, and coordination of articles through the publication process. As a key member of GHEP’s editorial office, she helps maintain efficient workflows and supports authors, reviewers, and editors throughout the scholarly publishing process. Through her work, Rowena contributes to GHEP’s commitment to advancing and disseminating high-quality research in public health, maternal and child health, and related fields.

Shahadat Hossain serves as an IT Consultant with Global Health and Education Projects, Inc. (GHEP), supporting the technology infrastructure behind the organization’s programs and scholarly publishing activities. He provides technical support for GHEP’s journal platforms, including Open Journal Systems (OJS), website administration, and digital publishing operations. His broader technology work encompasses web development, hosting, server and infrastructure management, and digital solutions. Shahadat holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy and an MBA, combining a multidisciplinary background with practical expertise in information technology. At GHEP, he helps ensure that the organization’s digital platforms remain functional, accessible, and capable of supporting efficient scholarly communication and program operations.
