Mrs. Fongwen serves as a Director with the GHEP Board. She is a Psychiatric Nurse Manager at Springfield University Teaching Hospital, London, United Kingdom (U.K.). In this position, she is responsible for the supervision and management of over 23 professional staff in an inpatient psychiatric unit for deaf young people and their families. Lisa has over eight years’ experience in a variety of intensive clinical and human service settings providing care to various clients including children and adolescents with depression, manic personality disorder, psychosis, behaviour difficulties, attachment and emotional difficulties, autistic disorder and ADHD.
Lisa is an international development activist leveraging her phenomenal nursing and information technology skills in the service of the poor and less-privileged in African and inner cities in London.

Lisa holds a Diploma in Higher Education from Kingston University and St. George’s Hospital Medical School, London, U.K., a Higher National Diploma in Health and Social Care Studies from Lambeth College, London, U.K., and a Post Graduate Diploma in Emotional Wellbeing in Children and their Families from the world-renowned Tavistock and Portman Clinics, London, U.K. In 2011, she completed the prestigious Royal College of Nursing, UK Leadership course in Nursing.
